Jaffrey Assembly of God, in Jaffrey, New Hampshire (formerly called Hope Nation and Calvary Assembly of God), began in 1974. In 1981 an 1880’s farm house with a connected barn was purchased and renovated for our worship and ministry center. It reflects our congregation: ordinary people with an extraordinary God, who is renovating us to reflect His character and become useful for His service. As a group of followers of Jesus, we want to share what He means to us and has done for us, and we also desire to have a positive influence in the world and to help others to be changed by the grace and love of God and to be brought into His family. We believe the Bible is God’s Word, through which God speaks His will to all people everywhere, and we purpose to apply our lives to its teachings. We are a growing group of believers and welcome new friends and visitors.
Jaffrey Assembly is a family of believers that is in partnership with a larger family known as the Assemblies of God (3+ million, US; 66+ million worldwide. More history and info is available on the “A/G” website AG.org or see below). Knowing there are many other Bible believing churches in our area and throughout the world, we consider all the many millions of “born again” followers of Jesus to be our brothers and sisters in our greater family.
We are located at 48 Stratton Rd. Jaffrey, NH 03452
